Situated on the foothills of beautiful Tamborine Mountain (Gold Coast Hinterlands) The Retreat backs onto Tamborine National Park (Scenic Rim Shire-S.E. Qld. Aust.) and  is nestled in 6.125 ha of Meticulous Landscaped Gardens and Natural Australian Bush-land.

Only 10 minutes drive from the many tourist attractions and activities on Tamborine Mountain; approximately 60 minutes drive from the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) and Brisbane.   Morton Bay is also about 60 minutes away.

The legal NUDE beach Belongil-Tyagarah (Top of N.S.W - North side of Bryon Bay) is approximately 90 minutes drive South.

(i)    Situated in a rural environment with dams and flowing waterways, in the interest of safety and everybody’s peace of mind, unfortunately we do not cater for children under the age of 16 or over 12mths of age.


(ii)   The 6.125 ha property backs onto Tamborine National Park and is part of the Land for Wildlife program, therefore the Retreat is unable to accommodate domestic pets.
